Shortlisted for the Grindstone Literary Short Story Prize 2020

Prizes aren’t everything, but it can be hugely reassuring when you’re working away in a vacuum to know that someone else has read your work and rated it. That’s exactly how I felt yesterday, when I heard my short story, The Blood Shift, had been shortlisted for the Grindstone Literary Short Story Prize.

Congratulations to all the other writers placed in the Prize this year. I can’t wait to read their work.
